Oxford Win Men’s University Boat Race

The University of Oxford “Dark Blues” defeated the University of Cambridge “Light Blues” in the 163rd edition of the famous boat race.

Taking place on the River Thames every April, the ‘Boat Race’ is one of the U.Ks best known sporting events.

Thousands of spectators lined the banks to watch the famous race that was first held back in 1829.

Also taking place on Sunday was the 72nd women’s race, which saw the Cambridge boat comfortably beat Oxford.
